Holley Carb adjustment question
Its a holley 600 cfm with vacuum secondary. Performer intake. The only
adjustment screws I see are for the idle and there is one screw on each side of the metering block up front. Idles fine but stumbles when you get into the throttle. Squirters are working fine. |

Squirters are working fine. Your intake manifold could be blocked with crud. I had hesitating and stalling when cold problems until I ran it on the bottle for half an hour and used carb cleaner on everything else. It responds a lot better now... The exhaust doesn't come out black and sooty anymore either... -'dreas |

Squirters are working fine. Specifics, please? Motor, year, make, etc. There are many different sized squirters available and there are different accelerator pump cams ... maybe you're getting too much too early, or not enough, and too little too late? Those screws are for the idle mixture, btw... Look at www.holley.com for some info, then come back and help us by giving us some clues as to what you have, what you've tried, etc. |
