Sorry for the delay. Haven't checked in for a while.

Grant Reeve said on the iR forums that ground effects are inoperable
on the Mazda. This was after a lot of people did a lot of testing
under the assumption that there obviously should be simulated ground
effects. There were some hard feelings after that bit of news was
dropped.

I'm not sure if ground effects will be operable after the next update
to the car, which is supposed to be later this week.

The update that already came out this week is supposed to address the
standard aero effects in terms of wing angle drag v. speed. Running
more wing shouldn't cause as much loss in top speed now. I haven't
tested that, but in the few laps I ran with minimum wing angles I
don't see any need to increase them further. In other words, my
initial impression is that we'll still be fastest running with minimum
wing angles.
