AC Recharge 98 A6 2.8
What price range is reasonable for this service? It is only blowing warm air.
Thanks. -- Message posted via CarKB.com http://www.carkb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/audi/200704/1 |

AC Recharge 98 A6 2.8
OK, so it sounds like I need to have it diagnosed first. I have had the car
for 4.5 years and have not had a problem until now, so in the event that it only has to be recharged and is not leaking, any idea on this? Thanks wtrplnet wrote: >> What price range is reasonable for this service? Yes, it's possible there is a very slow leak and recharging will take care of it for some time, and costs considered that might be a viable way to go. If you go that route keep a close eye on the performance of the AC and if it loses the charge again, this time find out what's actually causing that loss. Sorry, I don't have a price range for you. Simple recharging shouldn't be very expensive though. I'd look for a good independant Audi specialist rather than the dealer for this kind of thing. They'll probably recommend looking for a leak when you take it in. In my opinion that's not a bad idea. Good luck, Alan |
