Default Fuzion tires by bridgestone

Has anyone seen any reviews for the Fuzion ZRi tire put out by Bridgestone
this past year? Have not seen anything written about them and they don't
appear on tirerack.com. The price is very attractive but...
Just wondering if anyone else has heard or seen anything on them.

tirerack has them in 275/40/17 and 255/45/17 for about $100 each and no
negative feedback at all

Raymond,
I have not heard much about them, but the 4 local dealers all say the Fusion
is OK for a low budget tire, but there is no warrenty on them, they only
come in W-, V- and H-speed ratings and 3 suggusted no way on a vette and all
said the Potenza while being more expensive is a far better choice. Most of
the reviews are on much lighter and less powerful cars, have not found a
Vette review.

The Mastercare site has some usefull info:
http://www.mastercare-usa.com/servlet/selector

Where on my car, they are rated the lowest of the three ratings they give
and are considered
"Silver Rated Tires (Low-priced)"

Most other reports say for the money they are a good deal, but they are
aimed at the sport-compact market and would not last with either the torque
or hi G forces of a Vette.

Road and Track has a mini review:

My C-5 came with BF Goodrich g-Force Sport tires which are usually listed as
low budget tires, but for the most part, found them to be very good. Biggest
problem was in rain and not the best. And we do get our share of rain here !

I am now running the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and love them, not cheap, but
hold the road wet or dry. I use the 245/45ZR17 for the front and the back
are 275/40ZR18. They look like they will last a long time as even after 8000
miles, they still look almost new.

I have found that Epinions can be helpful in getting info on almost
everything sold. Readers comments I find the most helpful.

However asking about good tires will give you about as many replies as
asking about the best yr. vette or best anti-virus software as they will
probably range all over the place.

Hope this gives you some idea's !
