Thanks for the reasoned replies.

Why I wrote --- Trying to make an overall 'philosophy of driving' for
myself. Used to get upset when the MFFY cut in front of me. Used to get
upset stuck behind LLBs. Trying to get away from that. Any single episode
will only cost a minute or so at most in the trip time. Not worth the
psychic upset.

I won't give up completely & become a limp noodle type driver (i.e. 'you
first - always'). So the evolving philosophy is... if someone displays LLB
or MFFY tendencies and they're about to slow me down or cut me off, then if
it's safe to do so, I will execute a blocking maneuver on them first. Me
first when it's my turn to be first.

This includes the cutoff when coasting to the light (seen in another thread
here). If you're gonna cut me off, come to a dead stop as the light turns
green, and then slow me down, I might speed up a bit to cut you off & keep
you out of my lane. No guilt from me. Me first when it's my turn to be
first. But if I'm snoozing and you execute the maneuver, or if you're
driving so stupid I think you might wreck, then I will let you go, and I
won't get upset.

That's the working plan.
