Default 1964 Volvo PV 544 Parts/Restoration Car Auction

Up for auction is a 1964 Volvo PV 544 restoration project/parts car with
many extras.

Current auction price: $500.00. Auction ends Mar-23-06 16:09:48 PST.

Missing items for restoration are front bumper end pieces, radiator, rubber
molding for windscreens front and rear, and one or two of the interior side
panels. The parts on the benches are parts I have restored for the car.
Three of the floor pans have been replaced, and the other probably should
be. There is an area on the body inside the front of the rear fenders where
the previous owner cut some rust out and new material has not yet been
installed. Other than this, the body is in surprisingly good shape. The
seats are all intact, but the covers are bad. The driver's bucket seat has
been restored and covered.

Regarding the engine: The cylinders are bored, new pistons/rings, new
camshaft, new bearings, valves and valve guides, and new rocker arm
assembly. I installed a new fuel pump and starter. The transmission was
opened and inspected by the previous owner and no problems observed. A new
clutch and pressure plate are installed. The SU carburetors have been
cleaned inside and out, but not tested. I re-did the air cleaners so they
use a standard size filter and are very easy to change. The red hoses
attached to the engine were installed to insure water supply to the engine
when it was test run. It was started with a different manifold with a 2bbl
Weber carb.

The winning bidder will also receive a spare B18 engine block, a four speed
transmission, and a three speed transmission, and I "think" there is a spare
head. There is an extra dash panel with instrument cluster, extra right
front fender, an extra hood, two extra wheels and other extras that I can't
recall; mostly small items.

This auction is for local pickup only. The location of the vehicle is in
Grove, OK. in the NE corner of the state.
