Given enough money anything is possible..

HOWEVER dropping a ZZ4 or similar crate motor in is really no big
deal... BUT every header installation I have ever done had a "few"
problems ....so I would expect some small problems that should be a
snap to fix... Side pipes were never on my list of moods to any car
I have owned but again I expect it should not be very problematic...

What's wrong with the engine that can't be machined, sleeved or
otherwise refurbished? Now, if you want to go with an aftermarket
engine, that's a different query.

What's wrong with the engine that can't be machined, sleeved or
otherwise refurbished? Now, if you want to go with an aftermarket
engine, that's a different query.

Nows the time to put some REAL h.p under the hood ; if you have the
money and youre going to keep the car .... go with a Big Block. It will
be more saleable than a crate SB . Look at Salee Chevrolets 454 HO crate
motor under $5 k. While youre at it, beef up the suspension .

It appears to be a rod bearing and my service facility seems to think that
when the first one goes the others are not far behind. (note: this vette was
stored for 10 yrs without any attention until I bought it this year)
