Default Need Help Identifying Car

I would like to know what the model is of the car in the foreground. I was
told that my father owned a Dodge Police Interceptor at one time & I'm
guessing this is that car. Perhaps my brothers were wrong & the car is a
Plymouth.

Thanks.

Just a guess, but maybe a 1959 Dodge Coronet?

That's a 1959 Dodge Coronet 4d Sedan. To see whether it had the police car
package you'd have to open the hood and see the engine, more than likely,
but I'm sure that lots of Dodge Coronets ended up in various police fleets.

During the early to mid-'60s my dad worked as a radio operator for the HP,
guess that's when he picked it up. He got rid of it before I was born.

Thanks again Max & you also Zilbandy.
