Default Radial bubble on tire alway impact damage

National Tire and Battery told me my radial tire with about 20K miles
certainly has impact damage. I have no sign of a scuff mark on the tire and
have not impacted anything. The bubble runs radially on the tire and is
about 4 inches long, 1/2 inch high, and 1 inch wide. The National Tire and
Battery rep told me this type of bubble can only be formed by impact damage
and is certainly not a manufacturing defect (thus no warranty). He claimed
manufacturing defects only cause bubbles that have a different shape. Any
feedback on this? What is NTB's reputation on this type of work?

I also didn't like the fact it took them 3 hours to look at the car and tell
me the news. Other tire dealers have always looked at the tire immediately.
3 hours just to look is ridiculous!! I have better things to do with my
time than sit in the waiting room of a tire dealer.
