No rear A/C in 1999 Grand Caravan
The rear air conditioning in my minivan quit working. The rear fan runs fine
but the vent (upper) has no cold air blowing out of it. When the rear A/C is turned on, very hot heat comes out of the rear (lower) floor vents. Front air conditioning runs fine. It seems that the rear A/C is not being 'switched' properly as now the rear heat comes on when the rear AC is requested. Any ideas?? Please respond to this newsgroup or if necessary, respond to: GREG DOT CA REMOVE AT ATTBI REMOVE DOT REMOVE COM Thanks --Greg-- |

There is a switch back there somewhere that moves from A/C to HEAT mode for the
rear areas. Next to the Rear Fan Switch. Mine is on the drivers side wall just behind the drivers seat. If this switch is in the A/C mode and you are still getting heat then something wrong with the switch I would guess. Or maybe a stuck damper valve. Nope, this switch doesn't exist in a 99. I had a 90 and YES, it did have
this switch. --Greg-- "Mandy" > wrote in message ... > There is a switch back there somewhere that moves from A/C to HEAT mode for the > rear areas. Next to the Rear Fan Switch.
