2005 prices
The new Corvettes are starting to show up at the dealers
and I am surprised at how high the sticker prices are. They are in the $50K to $55K range for a coupe. I wasn't expecting the price to be so high. |

"$50K to $55K"
I wish.... dealers say there is a $8k premium on the first ones delivered. The few we have (usually presold) are averaging $63-67K ! -- Tedd Riggs Redmond, WA 1998 C5 6 spd "Mark Jones" > wrote in message k.net... > The new Corvettes are starting to show up at the dealers > and I am surprised at how high the sticker prices are. > They are in the $50K to $55K range for a coupe. > > I wasn't expecting the price to be so high. > |

I agree Bob, my 2005 coupe order with about the same equipment as my CE came
out about $390 less then the 2004 MSRP. That is one of the reasons I ordered the 6 speed this time. Are they actually being sold? I thought they were not released for public ownership yet. In other words, is there an official release date? -- Dad 04 C5 CE Z51 72 Shark Black/Black/4spd "Bob I" > wrote in message ... > Some preloading of options no doubt. Cars started shipping last week and were being delivered this week to
the first customers. On Sat, 28 Aug 2004 13:24:12 -0400, "Dad" > wrote: >I agree Bob, my 2005 coupe order with about the same equipment as my CE came >out about $390 less then the 2004 MSRP.
