Man, this is eerie. That's exactly what I thought.

But I think it also has to do with HATE. Yeah, they hate that other
people remain free and healthy while they remain enslaved to their
thirsty vehicles. They think, "Hey, if I paid 50 grands for my Hummer,
no one on a bike will slow me down." And they just try to squeeze that
oversized vehicle and a bike on the same lane...

One day, though, the stupid dinosaurs will become extinct, and the
small furry animals will reclaim the earth. Brain is better than size,
right?

Its because they are so hard to pick out of the grill when they run the
red light right in front of you.

Drivers don't hate cyclists. But Americans are all cowardly bullies
who love to pick on those weaker and when they're in a car they are
bigger and stronger than any cyclist.

Personally I try to respect the right of cyclist to use the same
roads. However, some cyclists give the whole group a bad name. I know
you have seen the ones I am talking about - passing cars in the gutter
at lights, running lights, etc. And as for arrogance - more than a few
cyclist are every bit as arrogant as the worst Hummer drivers you can
find.

That has an element of truth, but I think the bullies only make up a
minority among the cowards.

Yeah, but they are not as dangerous.

Yeah, but they are not as dangerous.

How so? I suppose you have not had one run the light in front of you.
More than once I've had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid hitting a
bicycle. It pretty easy to see how this could lead to an accident.
Hummers are much easier to see coming...

Not if you are in bicycle. If you are riding a bicycle in traffic, you
are a sitting duck, "nowhere to run, nowhere to hide"...
