And automation CREATES HIGHER PAYING JOBS!!! It might seem like automation
takes jobs away. After all, if a machine can do the work of 5 humans (for
example), then that is 5 humans who are no longer needed to do the work.
But jobs are created elsewhere, as people are needed to manufacture and
service the machines!!! And these types of jobs can not be outsourced to
India. Net effect is that automation creates higher paying jobs
ocally. -Dave

That's the point. Higher quality jobs. But since there is cheap labor you
get a hundred people working for next to nothing instead of 20 people
working for a good salary. Under the current system the only people
willing to work for next to nothing are illegal immigrants. So you get
100 illegals employed for next to nothing doing backbreaking work and 20
citizens trying to find work that pays a decent wage.
