You go for extremes, don't you?

Listen - I'm 52 (almost). The 3.93's would require a much faster shift from
first to second than I'm used to. I could hurt myself.

Especially if the size of them rivals those of a Cessna.

Seriously, if something as protrusive as a 3 square foot angled piece
of fiberglass has NO effect, why do all of the wind tunnel cars
resemble bars of soap? I find it difficult to believe that in has
zero effect...

That's what automatics are for. Maybe you should keep CFrog and sell
TFrog. Then those 3.93s would be just what the doctor ordered.

Default On the other hand....

In order to get effect from a rear wing you need to be going 100+ MPH in the
turns. You don't need the little extra down force on your rear wheels
driving on the highway. If anything it will create more drag and slow you
down at top speed.
