2008 Mercedes Benz GL550 - rvl

Went to get my car washed today and discovered a Mercedes model I didn't
even know existed. I guess this GL series competes with MB's own ML series.
It has a more American looking profile.

This is their new model for 08, with the chunkier styling to match the
grille on the C series. You'll see a similar look on the upcoming small SUV
as well as on the upcoming E class, with a more bluff, upright grille that
looks larger and more imposing. I like this GL even though it's way too big
for me and too expensive as well. Nice colour, though. I think a friend of
mine has a C300 in that colour. :-))

I'd say it's in competition with Dodge in migrating toward the Lena
The Hyena lookalike award.
