2003 Honda CR-V (EX): Bad TPS
I have about 22K miles on a 2003 Honda CR-V EX. The Malfunction
Indicator Light (MIL) came on and has stayed on. Okay, so I tightented the gas cap. Still on after several trips. Took it into Honda and the diagnostics is ringing up a bad TPS (which could also explain the high RPMs and slight lurch when braking). Is this typical for this vehicle? |

Try this.... http://www.hondasuv.com/stg/viewtopi...&highlight=tps It's an expensive part, since you get the whole intake. 'Curly' |

I'm still covered under warranty ("certified pre-owned"). They'll repair it in about a week. Still... I think this is too early for this kind of problem. [note: I had put 92 octane the day before. I usually put regular (87), so either terrific coincidence or really bad gas.] |
