Jon Lennon's Rolls. Once owned by billionair Jimmy Pattison in Vancouver.
I've got a picture of me with it at Pattison Pontiac Buick somewhere. I'll
have to play Billy and post it maybe.

Is it true that Rolls Royce sent Lennon a nasty letter when he had it
painted like that?

I don't know if they went that far. The car was allegedly attacked in
the street by an old lady with her umbrella, who considered it
sacrilegious to have done this to a Rolls-Royce.

Personally, I think it looks great. Rolls-Royces have always reflected
the personalities of their owners; look at some of the flamboyant
hunting cars built for the Indian maharajas, or C W Gasque's
Clark-bodied Phantom I with the French-salon style interior. Sao why
should this be any different?.
