Until the late 1960s, Ford of Germany had a completely different range, with nothing in common with the British Fords. Only with the launch of the Escort and Capri did a unified European Ford range start to evolve. In the early 1950s there was also a unique Ford France range of cars too, but Ford's French operation was sold to Simca in 1954. -- Regards Leroy Curtis Please replace "nospam" with "baram" in my address if you wish to reply by Email |
