Question about reading computer codes on 89 Honda Accord
I know that some cars have a way of getting a computer code reading from
doing something with the ignition and counting the blinking lights. Is there such a thing for an 89 Honda Accord SEI? I think one of my sensors has bit the bullet. In case someone has another idea what could be causing this problem I guess I should explain it. Recently my car has had real problems starting. The problem came on rather abruptly and now in order to start my car I've learned a procedure of first pumping the gas pedal once or twice and then when the engine starts to turn over I sorta flutter the gas pedal so the car doesn't stall and I get the RPM up really high and hold it there long enough to get the engine a bit warm. Once the engine is warm the problem is gone until the engines cold again. I suspect its the coolant temp sensor but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks 8-) |

> Is this a carbed model?
> No. It's fuel injected. I didn't think there would be any carb models on that late a date. |
