Outside of metro areas you can still find them. In this day and age I
don't know why...it's almost un-american to be able to pay other than
with a credit card.

BTW, it is hard to imagine drivers actually deliberately running out of
gas just to get a free gallon. Makes for a grabber of a story for KTLA
though.

Are the texans running out of gas so they can get "free" gas from the

Should pass a federal law that it's illegal to run out of gas on Interstates
just like Germany's "no speed limit in rural areas" Autobahn (that the Laura
Bush hater seem to dislike high speed).

Last time I checked, compacts, sedans, and pickups all have the ability
to run out of gas. And they do.

There isn't one, currently. Mr. Jung was arguing for the creation of one
at the federal level.
