Default Ubisoft's F1RC exit command?

Thought I would load this up just for the hell of it. What is the
friggin' exit command to leave the 3D part of the game?! I can't find
the manual after all these years. I press the ESCP key and it freezes
with no message until I press the enter key. Every keyboard combo I
tried does not do it. Press alt+tab and let it crash is the only way I
can get out of the POS. The FAQ from Ubi says they tested alt+tab to
minimize but it may crash on "some" PC's. Every PC I've had this game on
alt+tab causes a crash. The FAQ also makes mention of an .ini file to
turn off the 3D car in the UI. There is no .ini file there. Wonder what
kind of drugs the game developers were on?

I'm not asking about a typical Windows program. I am asking how to exit
the 3D part of F1RC and go back to the game's UI. I'll try alt+F4
though, thx.
