Removing the interior door panel on my 1998 Chevy Prism
Hi- I've got a well worn '98 Prism with 120k on it. Recently the
driver's side door handle (on the inside) broke off. I figured it was just heavy use and time that did it in finally - after all it's just cheap plastic. Anyway, the cable that opens the latch fell down inside the door, and I need to get access to it so I can either replace the handle (most likely with a piece scored from a boneyard) or rig something up to open the door with if that option doesn't pan out. I'm tired of having to roll my window down and open the door using the outside handle. Is there any source I can look to that would tell me how to remove the interior panel of my door without totally destroying it? Thanks, Joe |
