airbag control unit not speaking to Alfadiag
I have a 2000 Spider with the usual "airbag light on" problem. Underseat
connections have been cleaned with magic spray and should now be ok. I have the AlfaDiag software / interface and it works perfectly with the ECU, but switch from pin 7 to pin 3 for the Airbag controller and it won't communicate. AlfaDiag were very helpful but can't suggest anything more to try, and as the car is a German import I'm wondering if there is a different protocol used by our teutonic friends. The Airbag controller is a TRW 202862-112. Anyone had difficulties with airbag controllers? Cheers, Rod |

I'm just going to take the bulb out. -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Alfa 156 TSpark Sportwagon Veloce Selespeed Alfa 156 TSpark Lusso - Alfa 75 TSpark Lusso - Ducati 750SS |
