2002 dodge caravan sport has intermintant dash gage and speedometer problem

While driving the speedometer and tach will stop woking. Also the oil
light, check engine light, red dot for the anti theft all come on. This
all happens at the same time. the van continues to run fine. After a
couple of minutes the speedometer and tach and all warning lights go out
except the anti theft dot still stays on until the ignition is turned off.
When restarted it goes off and all is back to normal until the next
episode. yesterdady the van started and cut right off and would not
start.No click or no cranking. Had it towed to dealer. when it got there
it started and ran fine. They said it would do no good to put on tester
unless the problem was happerning at the moment it was being tested. Any
suggestions would be appreciated

pc board on back of cluster.the shop should have scanned for dtc's .to
see if any ccd buss comm. problems.
