Default Silly question

I have an 08 JK 4 door. The top of the dash on the driver's side
has a clear plastic bubble. What is it for??? no big deal .. just
curious.

Just a guess but there are two sensors on the newer 93 and on dashes.
Both are sun sensors, one is for automatic headlights and the other is
for the automatic climate control.

Not sure if they ever put a blinky alarm light up there.
