If water squirts from the front jet then the pump is okay. Maybe the jet is
blocked. Give a gentle poke with a pin. Also check that the tube feeding the jet is not crimped or falling off. If it's falling off or leaking then you would have water going somewhere where it shouldn't go. mike "Ash" > wrote in message ... > there is water in the resovoir and the wiper works but only a tricle of > water is comes out instead of a squirt. Cheers Mike.
Used the pin but no joy. I tried removing the black cover from inside the hatch but could'nt manage it. i removed 4 screws but the cover would'nt budge. do i need to remove this cover to check the tubing ? Yes.
Sometimes these covers can have plastic push clips and do need a firm pull on one edge to release them. Try and check that the tube isn't being squeezed in the plastic cover from tailgate to body, near the top of the tailgate. Do you get a better flow from the jet with the tailgate open or closed? -- Paul Woodsford Remove NOSPAM to reply.
