147 rear wash wipe

Default 147 rear wash wipe

there is water in the resovoir and the wiper works but only a tricle of
water is comes out instead of a squirt. Any idea what the trouble could be ?

Default 147 rear wash wipe

If water squirts from the front jet then the pump is okay. Maybe the jet is
blocked. Give a gentle poke with a pin. Also check that the tube feeding the
jet is not crimped or falling off. If it's falling off or leaking then you
would have water going somewhere where it shouldn't go.

Cheers Mike.

Used the pin but no joy.

I tried removing the black cover from inside the hatch but could'nt manage
it. i removed 4 screws but the cover would'nt budge. do i need to remove
this cover to check the tubing ?

Yes.
Sometimes these covers can have plastic push clips and do need a firm pull
on one edge to release them.
Try and check that the tube isn't being squeezed in the plastic cover from
tailgate to body, near the top of the tailgate.
Do you get a better flow from the jet with the tailgate open or closed?
