But an all aluminum block weighs about 125lbs. Good place to start. The
5L can apparently crack the 12's with some minor mods and good tires.
Imagine what it would be like at 3100 lbs?

The GT weighs about 3,600. And it'll run 12s in pure stock factory
trim.

On the other hand, the Ferrari Enzo (using the lightest materials)
weighs in at about 3100 lbs, a coincidence? I think not!

And a base Vette, for a fraction of the cost of the Enzo, also weighs
3,100.

And it can't touch the Enzo, Ford is making the best built, and fastest
I should say, Ponies right now, and I like em, sans the odd rear-end
(tails). There are Miata's and S2000's out there, why not just get one
of those? I sure as hell don't want Ford to change the old Stang into
something, dare I say, Probish?

If you really want to tear apart a brand new car, it can be done.

Gee, better engineering? Better use of materials? Why did my '88 LX 5.0
weigh so much less than the new Mustang, and it had a cast iron block and
heads?

So why didn't GM make the Camaro like a Vet? You got the money to own a
Vet? Or you just trying to stir up ****?
