BMW E30 Control Arms

Does anyone have personal experience with Meyle brand control
arms for the e30? I have always used Lemforder because people
_felt_ that Meyle were crap. Well, time to stop the "feelings"
and please give personal results. They look to me to be worth
trying unless there are actual bad experiences.

I have used both without any negative opinions either way. Sure wish
someone would put out a set that had easy to change ball joints...

I've used the Meyle ball joints for an E36 after the OE failed at about
60K miles. No problems and is considered an upgrade to OE due to its
all metal construction. No noticeable negative effects. All my old
Volvos used mostly metal ball joints and none ever wore out, I was
shocked when my partners 323i failed MOT on a ball joint. Some years of
the 360 anti-roll bar used metal/plastic ball joints and these usually
fail within 5-10 years. Plastic and rubber do not seem to be suitable
materials for suspension ball joints.
