Yes, and was made 22 years ago. Before airbags, before tire pressure
indicators, before OBD2, before hundreds of pounds of things required on
todays cars. Had a great deal more chasis flex, didn't have a drivetrain
that could take 400hp and live up to ford requirements.

Sure there are ways around the weight penalties. The mustang buyer
generally can't afford them.

Stir up ****? This is Rich... from Rich, this is as good as it gets...

I'm waiting for "julienne fries should be krinkle cut" and "why is frozen
desert frozen?" and "how come Steve McQueen didn't borrow my car... ohhh, it
ain't really a Mustang but nobody has ever asked for my credentials".

Rich is a unique person... we wish he wasn't Canadian but he's from Toronto
and that makes it sort of expected.

Rich has about as much chance of buying a 2011 as I have of becoming Prime
Minister and convincing Obama that he might be better off doing toilet paper
commercials.

Rich feels that you should be able to drive just as fast as you can and if
you hit someone that didn't see you driving as fast as you possibly can ...
THEY are to blame... You were well within your right driving as fast as you
possibly can...

When I think of Rich... I have visions of shaken baby syndrome... fetal
alcohol syndrome... blunt object trauma... "accidentally" falling on the
floor face first.... sibling rivalry.... and so many other modern conditions
I can't pretend to understand....

Rich just tries to make unreasonable demands sound a little less
unreasonable...

I thjink the internet calls it <FAIL>

I'd love to see a weight breakdown by part for the Mustang.

You really should be driving a 1995 V-6, being such an old lady Volvo
driver.

Ok....... without knowing what you mean... I bought an 05 V6 convertible for
my wife to drive.... Is that like a Volvo? I find that it can be a lot of
fun to drive.

FWIW, I have a friend with a Viper.... borrowed it a few times. It isn't
that much fun to drive since you can get into trouble real fast with it. But
it's a lot of fun to drive if you can stay out of trouble...

if you can stay out of trouble.

Modern cars (and trucks) are already using a lot of "tricks" to reduce
weight (part of the CAFE deal). These include increasing usage of magnesium
(this stuff can get real interesting when you are trapped in a burning car).
If the 2011 weighs 3900 pounds... it does that for a reason. I don't know
what you drive (a 95 V6?) but i don't think you should bitch too hard about
the weight of a new ride if you aren't about to buy one. And if the car
weighs too much... buy a car that doesn't weigh so much. If the car is too
red... buy one that isn't so red.... if the car is too small - don't buy one
that is too small....

ad infinitum

This may appear bottom posted.... it isn't... do not believe your eyes. I
top posted it and then moved some bottom **** to the top.

I drove four Mustangs, pretty much the way I chose for 19 years. Then,
the liberal faggots in Ontario upped the fine for 50kph or over to almost
$10k with six months suspended.
So even on an empty, sunny, dry highway, it's a no-no. Now, I won't risk
it. So pussy mission accomplished, just a bit more control exercised
over a docile public. Or money grab, you choose.
