Default What does a viatologist study?

If you're new to these newsgroups, you may have seen the term
'viatologist' used. But... who is a viatologist, and more
importantly, what does he or she do?

A viatologist is one who scientifically studies roads. He or she
follows the scientific method to gather data, test it as necessary,
and report findings to the public.

Some examples of viatological research include route numbering
patterns, the various forms of lane dividers, elevation changes on a
particular road, or even predictions of future roads based on the
overcapacity of existing ones.

For more information on the science of viatology, please refer to
http://wwtl.info/#viatology.html *. While this science has been
around for centuries, it's legitimacy in many research-related circles
remains in infancy. Your contributions to the field will help
viatology become a legitimate study in scholastic circles and research
foundations... Here's to your studies!

| If you're n <bitch slap>

A viatologist studies equine gastro-intestinal tracts. That is because
the viatologist always has his head up a horse's ass.
