Default 63 roadster emergency brake cable replace?

While setting the parking brake the handle came off in my hand. The end of
the cable broke at the handle. I bought an OEM cable but am unsure of how
big of a job it is to re-route thru the car back to the rear brake yoke. Any
knowledge to share about this task?

The cable from the handle goes through the firewall and to a lever under the
frame near the center cross member. There are some clamps along the way
that hold the cable. You need to have the car in the air but it isn't that
hard.

And while you're under there, give the lever/pulleys some white grease.
