Hi group
I've got a 2004 GTV 3.2 24v which has done 16,000 miles - I know it's a waste - and yesterday it sailed through its MOT + annual service. The dealer says I need a cambelt change because of its age but despite the low mileage. What do you guys say ? Thnks Dave |

I believe the paranoid do them on 3 years / 36k, with most going for 4 years / 48k miles, despite the handbook saying 5 years / 60k miles. -- SteveH |

With my luck and finances, I'd be too scared to turn that engine over on the starter let alone drive it to a garage.. Which has suddenly made me think of the Sprint and the 116. Better not start them again, really. > > Anyway, isn't it *easier* to replace the engine than do the belts on > those things anyway..again, assuming money was no object..? Heh.
