I've never seen anyone recommend a 6200, which seems to come in several
versions. The 5200 was shyte. But the 4200 was a great card for its
time. So I can only suggest you spend ages trawling through Google
reviews and user experience before committing yourself to anything. You
might want to spend a bit of time getting up to speed on AGP/PCI-E as
well to stop yourself accidentally buying the wrong thing.

FWIW I've regretted spending "not enough" money more times than I've
regretted spending too much. Of course the sensible answer may be to
play on your laptop and save yourself some money! :-)

If you have ever stumbled across the relative slowliness of graphics chips
that are integrated on to the mainboard, you would be worried about the
6200: it is also used as a motherboard-integrated chipset, and can also be
found in some laptops, I think.

No-no for serious gaming that one. It is nice to see that laptops are
starting to have something vaguely similar graphics performance and chipset
generations as desktops, though.
