I was not able to select but a 16X write speed on a 40X drive after a few months after startforce install. I removed the starforce protection and immediately upon reboot, it showed that I could write at 40X speed.. Can you explain that coincidence? Regardless, Toca Race Driver 3 (getting back on the subject matter) looks very nice. I would download the demo (which is now available) but alas, it has starforce protection too. I guess the only option to test it would be to download the protection removed version since they have now figured out how to remove this trash from the game. Its a shame when you want to purchase a worthy game but cant due to products installed that can harm your sytem Has anyone downloaded the demo yet??? How does it handle? Are the physics better than GTL ??? THanks for any input. |
