It's just amazing on so many levels. I give credit to the guys'
photography skills. "Only 50K on the car", as evident by its superb
condition.

Your photo assignment for today: Yes, you would rather take photos at
a car show, but why don't you go to the local junk yard and take
photos of ... junk.
Incredible!

Well, let's see... he's taken pictures of all the ratty ****... the rusty
wheel wells.. the interior (ain't that gonna be a sweet fix), the drivers
seat...

Looks to me like the guy is trying to be honest about it... 50,000 miles on
a 64 Falcon might means something to someone, why not play up the cars
'good(?)' points, too.

The guy looks and sounds like he's trying to be honest... and some of you
guys still rip him a new ass....

Yeah... the car is rough... real rough. But I don't see anyone trying to
hide anything....

I agree... what's he hiding? Nothing. Nothing in the description is
pumping up the condition. I've seen worse restored.
Me, I'd have at least vacuumed out the bird seed shells though... A little
pre-photo prep work might have helped visually.
For a relatively unmolested, seemingly original (except for the wheels) '64
Falcon it's not in horrible shape. My '65 Mustang I'm restoring is worse.
And he certainly showed all the warts. However, there seems to be a solid
car there. New seat upholstery, carpet and glove box and the interior is
ready, if not perfect. Probably gonna have to replace at least part of the
floor pans, but that's not surprising. Drop a crate motor in there, beef up
the frame and suspension, a new top, some body work and you got a cherry
cruiser.
It's not far from me, if I didn't have a '65 Mustang in progress and an '86
Capri 5.0 in need of attention I'd be considering it.

Hey Mike,
We communicated awhile back. So what's up with your 86 Capri?
BTW: I still haven't purchased new wheels (4 bolt) and tires
for my 84. I'm having enough trouble trying to find a hubcap
for my 95 Ford van. With old age, hubcaps tend to lose their
grip, and the missing hubcap is probably in a ditch between
Minnesota and Virginia. Keep that 86 running!
