what kind of car was this? (NMC)
Does anyone know what this car is/was? It seems pretty sturdy.
http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/pat/funnycar.jpg I also noticed that it was white, where there is still sheet metal left. I was wondering if Leon could do an equation of the benefits of the photon effect versus the fact that the roof now acts as a wind brake. (Or sail, I guess, if you have a tail wind). :-) Pat |

He should have zigged when he zagged!!!

I want to know what kind of car it is because I want one. If it can take that kind of abuse, it should drive forever for me! ;-) Pat |

After carefully studying the picture, I believe that it is a damaged kind of car. People often underestimate how much faster white cars really are. Especially in Iraq where the sunlight is so strong. > If it can take >that kind of abuse, it should drive forever for me! Maybe, but you will get a lot of sand in your eyes if you do not put in a new windshield. It seems like primary vehicle in almost every piece of news footage that I see. That must be a very powerful feeling, dropping bombs on targets from an airplane in a country with no air power that can not possibly reach you from the ground. Pat |

what kind of car was this? (Absolutely no miata content)

I wasn't even putting his son, or any other pilots down, just pointing out the difference between what is being done now, where the worst thing a high-flying bomber has to worry about is mechanical problems with his aircraft because the enemy can not possibly hit him, compared to WWII, where our bombers were shot down with regularity because we did not have complete superiority in the air. I know that if I was in Iraq, I would far rather be in a bomber than in a ground vehicle. Finally, if the current situation is what we are talking about, I wouldn't call it war, I would call it a crime against the world that our current administration should be held responsible for to the highest degree for initiating.
