These cars were build in Australia by Chrysler Australia.

These cars were a legacy of Simca's purchase of the Ford France factory
in 1954, and were actually Ford designs, hence the Ford 2.4-litre V8
engine. Chrysler built them in Australia because they had acquired a 15%
share in Simca in 1958.
