The rear suspension in those Liberties is a cluster fart too. It does
not have a long service life and requires rebuilds that are not easy
or cheap in hard usage. They have gone about as far as possible from
the simple, sturdy, reliable and proven basic concept of the Cherokee
to the cobbed up and complex overall design of Liberty. Newer is not
better here.
