Now you're making me think. Since I started driving in 1995:

1 - 1983 Mustang GLX convertible (3.8L auto, first car, $3k, sold after
three 3.8L engines, currently a 5.0L 5-speed)

2 - 1983 Capri RS (5.0L 4-speed SROD, $800, borrowed T-5 when SROD died,
gave entire car to the lender of the T-5 because I didn't want to take
it out)

3 - 1984 Mustang LX (2.3L auto, $250, couldn't do 70 downhill, blew
black chunks out the tailpipe, paint peeling off. Drove for 8 months
and gave it away.)

4 - 1992 Mustang LX convertible (2.3L 5-speed, $4k maybe, traded for car #7)

5 - 1986 Capri (5.0L 5-speed, $1000, abused. Swapped new T-5 + exhaust,
painted with parts from car #8, sold for $1000 - not sure why)

6 - 1987 Mustang LX (2.3L auto, parts car, free, never ran, left on
property for my uncle to deal with when I moved)

7 - 1988 Mustang GT (5.0L 5-speed, car #3 + $1k, a few mods - first
project/mod car. Traded even-up for car #10)

8 - 1983 Capri RS (5.0L 5-speed, $300, parts car, never ran. Needed
body parts - closer inspection showed 4-cyl T-5 and a locked up engine
due to *no* oil pump driveshaft)

9 - 1985 Mustang GT (5.0L auto, $2500. Auto was a dog, CFI engine, had
valvetrain issues, but great body, low mileage, beautiful 85 GT
interior. Sold for $2000)

10 - 1990 Mustang LX (5.0L 5-speed, trade for car #7. Installed new
T-5, motor mounts. Sold for $1000 - again, not sure why).

11 - 1997 Mustang Cobra (4.6L DOHC 5-speed, $17k in 2002 with 24k miles
on the clock. Still stock + TriAx shifter, sleeping in a garage 400
miles away)

Some of the non-Mustangs I've owned:

198x Camaro 305 - bought for $1500 after I caved in the whole quarter
panel (extending to the roofline) with Car #5 (which was unharmed) in a
stupid stunt in a parking lot. To my credit, the crowd cheered. Never
drove it, traded it to a painter for the paint job on Car #5.

1988 Cavalier Z24 (2.8L auto) - good little car... only car I ever
wrecked though (I see a pattern with these Chevy's). The ticket said
"Meeting a vehicle in the opposing direction." I hit a full-size Ford
van. The van laughed.

1988 Probe GT (2.2L? turbo 5-speed - fun car, bought for $800, sold for
$800 after a couple years. Can you say torque steer?)

1991 Thunderbird S/C (3.8L supercharged 5-speed - real fun car, luxury
and speed in one. Sold because it was a PITA to work on... miss it now,
though)

1995 Eclipse GSX (2.0L turbo AWD 5-speed - needy but fun... goes great
in the snow. The Eclipse guys are ****ed cause I bought one just for a
winter beater, but oh well Still have this one, currently my only
available car)

2001 Ninja ZX-6e (first bike, fun little toy. Everyone that rode it
dropped it, but me. Last friend slid it killed all the plastic, sold it
to him)

2003 Ninja ZX-12R (big bike, scary fast... still have it)

I think that's it... enough after 12 years. Most of mine have been
cheap beaters, but they've all been fun in their own little ways.

1967 Cougar (close enough) Bought senior year HS-1971 Mint condition,
great car. Drove cross country with two HS buddies summer after
graduation. Someone ran a red light on me-sold it after that.

1968 Mustang Fastback-Dark Green-bondo baby, never put it on the road.
Bought 1973

1967 Mustang Fastback-Nightmist Blue, 289, 3-speed. Great shape, drove
it cross country in 1973. Bought 1973.

I then went into my van phase-1971 Chevy Beauville-drove that cross
country with my cousin. Then bought my 1975 Chevy van that I
customized and used thru college. Drove that cross country numerous
times. Only reason I had Chevy vans is that the Ford vans were much
more expensive.

1968 Mustang fastback. Royal Maroon, 289, auto. Mint condition, bought
1981.

1967 Galaxie 500-390, auto. Traded my brother-in-law even up for his
1968 Mustang Coupe in 1984, Britanny? Blue loaded with all options.
302, auto.

1967 Mustang convertible-Sautern Gold, 289, 4-speed. Bought 1984

Parted out the 68 Coupe and sold the 67 convertible and 68 Fastback
to buy my 1967 Shelby Mustang GT-500 in 1987. Still have it. Wife
still hasn't forgiven me for selling the 68 Fastback "her" Mustang!.

1984 Mustang GT-350 Anniversary model. Bought it from the original
owner, a co-worker of mine so I knew the entire history. 302, 5-speed.
Bought it in 1988 and sold it 1994.

1993 Escort GT EXP. Black-great car, built like a tank.

1989 Ford Escort GT

1989 Mustang LX convertible-Blue, white interior, white top. 2.3 auto.
Bought 2002. Mint condition until my son got his license. didn't last
long after that!!

1993 Mustang LX convertible. White, red interior, 2.3, auto. Mint
condition 65,000 miles. Bought in 2004. My every day car now.

1966 Coupe 289-2bbl, 3-on the floor. Very odd. I was always looking for 4th.

1971 Fastback, 302-2bbl, Auto. My Sister's. She gave it to me when she got
her new, eh-hem, Pinto. ;-)

1986 GT. Stock. Fast enough to get into trouble with.

1988 5.0 Coupe. Black. Was very fun coming up behind folks on the Freeway.
Got them everytime. Thought I was a CHP. Like Moses parted the Red Sea for
me. ;-)

1966 289-4bbl Coupe. 36k miles. Was my Grandparent's. Don't know yet if I'll
keep it, or, sell it as part of the estate. Leaning towards selling it. 2
cars and a truck in the driveway. Hard to justify another one.

Saving my pennies for a new Cobra. I just wish the car wasn't so heavy. My
wife wont let me sell the BMW ('02 330 Convert) so I have to save. The '06
Civic is leased, and keeps the gas usage at sane levels, so I can't use that
as a dp either. :-(
