Go to:

http://eventerke.homedns.org:49153/

Open DVD.zip in your bt client. The file is a DVD source that can be
burned, or opened directly in a DVD player app.

The replays are tiptoeing around in a 427 Cobra (that thing is *mean*),
2 5-lap races of a Lotus versus larger GT-65 cars (Nurburgring Sprint +
Donnington), and a Porsche 911 against other 76 GTs at Spa.

It's 2gb - so I'll leave it up for a while.

Enjoy!

It's a DVD of several replays - I made it for a DVD player, and once I
encoded it deleted the sources. I can't be arsed to re-encode to make
it smaller .

I think I'll race 2 gig worth of races on my own, and pass on what you're
offering.

I don't care either way - I mentioned the videos in another post and 2
people asked me to put them where they could be downloaded - so I did
what I could on short notice until I feel like/have time to re-encode
them and make them smaller.
Geeze - who peed in your Wheaties this morning?

No worries Kendt. For the price you have certainly offerred fair value.
Those that wish to view them can, those that do not...can skip on to the
next topic. Lighten up folks. It's not like he's charging admission.

Please. Let's be serious about this. Am I really going to download a 2 gig
file, watching someone else racing a game that I own, or even a game that I
don't own? You and anyone else is welcome to do however you please: my own
opinion here is for someone to post something here saying he has a 2 gig
file and could someone else please watch him race is asking a bit too much.

Though I wouldn't do it myself, for that amount you could watch a
full-featured movie, with characters, conflict, and a plot line, with a
little psychology to add an edge.

I don't care for Wheaties and I typically go to the bathroom in a toilet.
It's bordering on narcissism to expect someone to download 2 gigs worth of
someone racing. I know, it's my choice; but to even offer it up is a bit
odd.

Wouldn't separate clips running maybe 20-30 meg be a bit more reasonable?

Not that I would expect you to.

In another post, a guy was asking about building a PC for GTL (and GTR)
- I mentioned making videos of replays and I got these responses:

>POST IT (the vid) hehheee

and
>Are these frap files online somewhere ??
>I think they can make me drool to (If these games are a bit like GPL)

So I just threw up what I had if anyone wanted it.

GTL, running in DX9 on a fast rig, is really a sight to behold. Even
if you've got the game but can't run it in all its glory, maybe you'd
like to see what it looks like and whether its worth it to you to spend
the money on an upgrade to see it running in full details and DX9
shaders.

I'll reencode the DVD to small files at some point, as yes, 2gb is a
bit much.

Do us both a favor and killfile me, OK ?
