Maybe they wear narrower shoes. Even if you do have small feet,
something like Doc Martins can be a challenge to fit between the
pedals of a small car.

How do you say; "tongue in cheek"
Could be some truth to it I guess but surely everything done to the MX5 is
as much for the US market as any market so, just a tight fit I guess.
