Default Defensive Driving class

Hi
I was told (when I was paying for the ticket in NH court house) that my
SDIP points will be reduced if I take a driver's ed.
Is it a bogus?
I live in MA, have 9 points, received two speeding tckets (NH and MA)
in a row last winter.
What is known about those Defensive Driving classes?
Thank you!

Slow down, you're goin' to
kiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll someone. (roll gory
film) There, your defensive driving classwork is done.

Final test:

What's most dangerous:
1) Passing someone in the breakdown lane
2) Talking on a cell phone while running a red light
3) Driving with a BAC of .135
4) Driving 56MPH in a 55MPH speed zone

If you answered "4", you PASSED.

If you answered anything but "4", you failed the class, and your SDIP step
is now 18, and your car insurance has been cancelled. Turn in your plates
at the DMV. -Dave

See if you can switch their training film with 'Ronin'. Better drivers
training, IMHO. ;-)

Notice there is NO choice 5 all of the above - doing all 4
simultaneously will result in which of the 4 choices being pursued. If
you answer 4 again, bonus points.
