Default Airbag icon light on all the time.

2006 Dodge Caravan 3.3L airbag icon light suddenly came on
while driving and remains on. Every time I now start the vehicle
the light remains on.

Your help much appreciated.

In the steering column behind the steering wheel and air bag.

Before you tear into this, consider that the airbag has an explosive
charge that can seriously injure you if it is not properly handled and
disconnected and ignites.

The clockspring has been the subject of a recall and replacement so it
may make sense to see if yours is included.
