me again, the 1992 vette guy
Okay, I havent even got my vette yet (should be here this week)
but i wanted to ask on some opinions of some in-dash CD players, or changers. I would like to keep my vette as stock as possible, but it doesnt have the bose cd player, it has a tape player, and I dont own any tapes! Are there any cd players that "work well" with the 1992 vettes? Im not really a sound guy, so I dont know if this is a stupid question or not. I guess if any of you have aftermarket cd players in your 1992 vettes I could use that info... Also, any advice on alarms would be helpful. thanks! Jamison |

It will tell you which products work in your car, which harnesses you would need for each product, and rates how easy or hard each install is. -- ______________________________________________ "Tom Pendergast" > wrote in message > I will find out who your kids friends are. I went with this JVC double-din unit: http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?produ...6000&pathId=63 and 4 new Infinity speakers. Fits the opening perfect. You have to rewire the speakers since the amp is in the head unit. But then, I have a bunch of (personally recorded) cassettes. I know, how 20th century. Hey, I put an 8-track in my first car, a 1963 Buick LeSabre...I switched to cassettes when disco started driving me nuts in the 70's. Keep the original stuff in a box in the event you sell the car. Some buyers are purists and don't care about the hi-fi. AJM '93 Ruby coupe, 6 sp > Also, any advice on alarms would be helpful. > thanks! > Jamison |
