Default Mazda 626 (year 2000) and the automatic transmission liquid replacement

Hi,
I have a Mazda 626, year 2000.
I'd like to know if the automatic transmission needs a liquid
replacement and if yes, after what period?

Best regards,
Badrday.

The manual is silent on this question - at least, the US version;
apparently in Europe they recommend 2 years/40,000 km.

Why you should do it:
