AutoTrader.com charges over 40 dollars for a full photo ad to post your
vehicle on there website. UsedCarStar.com is free for the month of
December. That includes photos. No Credit card needed. Just Free. I
would do it before the deal ends

Yeah great site. I searched for a Crown Victoria, any year, any distance and
there was none listed. That must be a real odd ball car. Or maybe the site's
a scam.

I would suggest, having been in charge of these kinds of things before, that
if you really want to get the site off the ground that you pay for some
advertising.

Google and Yahoo both have good rates and are basically the only places
worth advertising in.

Right now a search of "used cars online" on Google turns up the following
in this order:

carsdirect.com
ausedcar.com
edmunds.com
cars.com
autotrader.com
where-can-i-buy-a-car-online.com
automotive.com
autobytel.com

You don't have to pay the money that carsdirect.com does to get the top
listing, one of the top 5 is fine. If you were to pay Google to put you in
the top 5 for 6 months, and couple that with a free listing for first time
seller, you would probably be able to get some market share.

Ted
