Okay... I misinterpreted the news release a couple months ago.

The Air Force scientists or engineers are testsing it, tho, which is a big part
of the development of it for these purposes. IOW, its been around for 30 years
and hasn't yet been put to the purpose of bulletproof glass (which I still want
for my eyeglasses...)

What I read says its power by a pulse detontation wave engine - extremely fast,
but not the same as an engine that can go to Alpha Centauri, 11 light years
away, in 80 days.

Naw, Einstein's theory of relativity says its impossible.

Agree.

Given that projectiles (bullets) were already exceeding the speed of
sound then, I very much doubt that any scientists were claiming that
exceeding the speed of sound was impossible.

I was refering to the rotating plasma that reduces the mass of the
vehicle. That just seemed to be in a similiar vein to me. But perhaps
not.

Yes, and everyone with any knowledge of physics knows that even
Einstein knew his theory was wrong, it is simply the best there was at
the time.

What the heck, so will I.
