Hi Viatologists,

Tonight, we provide new photographs of New Jersey State Route 495:

http://wwtl.info/tmp/2208

Among other things, this route is famous for connecting the New Jersey
Turnpike w/ New York state. Eastbound travelers can find easy access onto
Manhattan's 42nd Street after passing the exit for US Federal Routes 1/9,
and subsequently submerging into the underside of the Hudson River.

Do you want to take your photograph experience further? The Worldwide
Transportation Library proudly offers a Drag+Zoom feature. To drag a
photograph, just click and drag it... To zoom, just click+drag. That's all
there is to it!

Cheers,

Carl Rogers

Just so you know, your two New Jersey pictures are in Secaucus by the
North Bergen town line. Heading east, the Union City town line is when
you pass under Kennedy Boulevard (and after the US 1/US 9 exits). It
becomes Weehawken as you pass the last offramp before heading down the
big helix.

I see that these pics were taken in the morning, with the buses being
in the lane on the other side in a contraflow fashion.

Now that I know he's in my state, should be an easy matter to sic
Jimmy Hoffa's ghost on him.

For all your NJ 495 needs look no further than www.alpsroads.net/roads/nj/nj_495,
where you get several thousand percent more content AND less spam!

A slight caption correction on the 2nd photo it would be considered
connecting to midtown Manhattan while the Holland hole-in the-wall would
be considered a connect to lower Manhattan.

However, I think its fair to mention that his few photos actually give
a scene feeling, and aren't just focused on signage... plus, they're
better quality images overall.
