rFactor driving me crazy.
I got lots of problems.
New install this morning. 1. ISI_BABYFACTOR isn't working. 2. When I connect to the RASCAR server, it disconnects me. And finally... It kept telling me my trainer was incompatible when joining races. So, I thought I'd sell the current one, and buy another. BIG MISTAKE! When I sold the default car it only gave me like $1200. Buying another costs $18,000  Now I have NO car, no BabyFactor to get money to buy another one, etc... Totally hosed. -Larry

Ok, I fixed it.
Just intered the babyfactor many times, and it finally worked. sheesh. As for the car problem, I just deleted the current profile and re-created a new one. Firstly, it's ISI_BABYFACTORY not ISI_BABYFACTOR
Your problem is probably that you have not upgraded the trainer and that server is only allowing upgraded trainers. I agree on the cars, however. I never liked the idea of upgrading, and you never know what different people have for upgrades. If you stick to the trainers (which has but one performance upgrade), you're pretty safe. F3 is also pretty safe. Individual servers can restrict cars but there's no way to restrict upgrades. I like the way GTL is. With the Dedicated Server, you can say which cars exactly can participate, and since there are no upgrades to the individual cars, everyone is on an even plane. It's all driving and set up, as it should be. Since GTL, rFactor is getting absolutely no playing time for me. I'm strictly GTL. MP is fine and I enjoy the career mode. I still can't understand why anyone would just allow all the cars in a GTL MP race. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Alanb

No, it was actually that everyone was running F3 Mods and I didn't notice it

I must have added a Y once by mistake LOL! I finally got my money after
entering it many times.
