Nine killed in bus crash in oregon - Media buries story

Why isn't this a front page story like death by gun always is.? This
tragedy was totally preventable. If roads are icy you slow down, but
the car crazies never do.

A tour bus careened through a guardrail along an icy Oregon highway
and several hundred feet down a steep embankment Sunday, killing nine
people and injuring about 20 others, authorities said.

The charter bus carrying about 40 people lost control around 10:30
a.m. on the snow- and ice-covered lanes of Interstate 84, according to
the Oregon State Police.

Sure, the story has gotten local coverage. Even that will end within
a day and no one in the press is demanding legislation to combat
the huge problem of reckless driving. We need a law that anyone guilty
of vehicular homicide do at least 20 years.

called Deadman Pass.

It was on going down the western side of the pass on slick/icy roads
and lost it. I've raveled that pass and it the downgrade is steep and
long (as in miles long with no letup). Per the idiot that
automatically means reckless driving.

I dunno why we keep responding to such a known troll.

the bus driver was going too fast or some other driver was
